Katie started her fitness journey attending spin classes, and she was in love. Within six months, she was certified as an instructor and leading classes. Spin classes led to group fitness classes, and group fitness classes brought her attention to strength training. At this point in her health journey, she decided to take this passion a step further and become an ACSM certified personal trainer. Since that certification, she has worked from her home with both groups and individuals, in a trampoline park, and in gym settings. She also holds an ISSA Nutritionist certification. She uses a holistic approach to health that emphasizes the importance of proper nutrition while training. Helping clients live healthy and fulfilling lives is her passion.

She connects people with the types of workouts they like to do best, as well as helps them to develop better relationships with food rather than perpetuate the never ending diet cycle. How much weight can I expect to lose?

I encourage my clients to take their focus off of weight loss as the scale only provides a tiny picture of the progress you’re making in your health journey. Rather than the number on the scale, I advise to set your eyes on growing stronger, increasing your energy levels, boosting your confidence, and improving your overall health. Weight loss tends to fall in line, however, placing too much emphasis on your weight sets you up for an obsessive and disappointing relationship with the scale, and sometimes even with food and working out.

What type of training do you do?

Strength training, HIIT, bodyweight, tabata, and/or cardio-based. I am able to program workouts that suit the preferences and equipment availability of the individual.

What's your training schedule?

Monday-Friday 5 a.m. – 7 p.m. PST.
Online training offers the client total freedom to complete his/her workout whenever, and I am available plenty of hours during weekdays and some weekends to answer questions, complete form checks, touch base via video call, and meet whatever needs that may arise for you. 

Do I have to have access to a gym?

No! If you prefer to workout in a gym setting, I can program your workouts specifically for the gym, but it is not a requirement. You can have little to no equipment and still receive a program from me. In the consultation process, we will discuss where you will be exercising and what equipment you have available, and I will customize your plan based on those details.

Do I need to have experience?

No! All skill levels are welcome! I will provide coaching support all along the way, and our training app includes demonstration videos for every movement in your workouts. Additionally, our training app gives you a direct line to relay any questions, comments, or concerns you have straight to me.
